The brief
A supplier of furniture, cutlery, crockery, accessories and bathroom kits for banquet halls, hotels, restaurants and coffee shops. Buyers order in bulk and ask about price and stock before they commit, so a shopping cart would have been the wrong tool. The site had to show a large range clearly and make it easy to ask.
What I built
A catalogue, not a shop. A companion plugin owns the products and a nested range taxonomy, so 280 items sit under Furniture, Cutlery, Crockery, Accessories and Bathroom Kits, each with its own sub-ranges.
Instead of a cart, buyers build an enquiry list as they browse. One tap sends that list as a ready-written WhatsApp message, or through a contact form the server checks again before storing. The public front end is a React app on Vercel that reads the catalogue from WordPress, and the logo was rebuilt from the business card as a sharp SVG in the site's black and gold.
Result
The business has a catalogue its customers can browse on a phone and enquire from in a few taps, and a WordPress admin where the owner adds products without a developer.
